A handpicked classic vintage denim jacket given an upcycled update with the addition of recycled rainbow fringe.
The denim is soft and worn as only vintage denim can be and the tassels have been created from reclaimed sweatshirts topped off with hand embroidery!

Perfect for kids and parents who are conscious of their environmental impact and looking for something comfortable and sturdy yet still super stylish.

Each item is hand made to order in my studio in London and the nature of the vintage fabrics means that your jacket will be truly unique but may also have some small stains or minor repairs.

Vintage sizing can be a bit tricky and the jackets often aren’t labelled so please check the chart below for chest sizes. Do get in touch if you’ve got any sizing queries.

    At Double Denim, I create high-quality, robust and original children’s wear for a stylish and environmentally conscious customer. The brand began when I started making clothes for my own children. I wanted comfy clothes that were robust and practical, but that were also fun and original - things I enjoyed seeing the kids wearing.   I design with the kid's needs forefront – unisex styles that are easy to pull on and off and perfect for playing - but with a unique and individual style that isn't the standard high street offering. At the heart of Double Denim is durability, functionality and classic style with a fun and colourful twist. Every item is hand made in my studio in London, where production is primarily on a made-to-order basis.   Sustainability is an integral part of the brand. The main material I use is second hand denim, adding in vintage and deadstock fabrics to bring colour and print to the designs. Longevity of the product is a focus with stretchy waistbands, generous turn ups and roomy fit to allowing for a longer period of wear.   Everything at Double Denim has been designed to be loved well and then handed down!
