Q: What inspired you to create Martha Oh My? A: “Alex and I have worked together for years and we always joked about starting our own business together. When I gave birth to Martha in January 2020, she gave us all the inspiration we needed for our small business. Martha Oh My! is very much a ‘lockdown’ start-up. As I started to wean Martha, I found it really hard to find stylish and practical baby essentials that were also environmentally friendly. I wanted something to compliment her outfits but was also functional, which was almost impossible amongst all of the bright colours and motifs on offer.”

Q: Why sell on Cress? A: “Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do as a brand at Martha Oh My! It’s important for us to work with other companies and platforms who share the same values as we do. We know these values are important to our customers, so partnering with Cress helps us show that we are a sustainable brand at first glance.””

Q: Any favourite product of yours? A: “We have many favourite products and all have been carefully selected to go in the range due to how great we believe they are, but one of my personal favourites is our Collapsible Snack Pot. This was added into the range in our second year and was a total game changer with Martha. It’s the prefect snack solution as you can pre-fill or pop it out on-the-go. The pot has a clever opening designed to let little hands in but not let snacks drop out, so no more messy buggy’s or wasted snacks. Plus, you can collapse it down for easy storage and to save space I in your bag. When you’re done, you can pop it in the dishwasher or wipe it clean.”

Q: Do you have any great feedback or memories of children using your products? A: “We sell our products at Makers Markets and love chatting to our customers. We have had some great feedback on how much they love our products and also recommend us to their friends and come back to buy from us again. Here are a couple of lovely reviews customers have taken the time to write.”

We love this plate! In fact, it is all our little lad eats out of now. So easy to clean and the scallop edge is great for scooping. Great that you can use it in the microwave too, something you can’t do with bamboo! Nice and lightweight too so you could easily pack it for a day out rolled up in a bag. Perfect!
